The Vanguard Award

The Vanguard Award recognizes and honors the outstanding efforts of an individual who has exhibited leadership and commitment to fostering the public’s understanding of, participation in, and general appreciation of chemistry, chemicals, and the chemical industry. Through various outreach initiatives, Vanguard Award winners raise awareness of the importance of science education and take action to enhance science education in their communities.

The SOCMA Educational Outreach Award

The SOCMA Educational Outreach Award, created through a partnership between CEF and the Society of Chemical Manufacturers and Affiliates (SOCMA), is awarded to the SOCMA member company that demonstrates the greatest educational impact as a result of its outreach initiatives.
