On May 16, 20 science teachers in Providence, RI attended one of our Essential Elements professional development workshops. Over bagels and coffee, local teachers brought their enthusiasm and curiosity to the fore as we guided them through our hands-on, interactive teaching methods, proven to get young scientists buzzing about chemistry. Thanks to the generous sponsorship of ICL Performance Products and J R Hess & Company, Inc., all attendees received free teaching resources to take back to their classrooms.
