Youth isn’t stopping these innovators and leaders!

While some students are just dipping their toes into the sea of STEM research and career opportunities, others are already making waves! A special U.S. News report profiles 16 young scientists (ages 13-21) who are “making extraordinary strides in medical research, energy, computer sciences and other STEM fields.”

Many of these young researchers and inventors may have been inspired just a few years ago by a teacher, parent, or extracurricular program. We can’t wait to see how this year’s National Challenge participants will use their knowledge of chemistry to change the world!
