2017 Annual Report
2017 was a big year for CEF! We revised our mission statement, and committed to building the excitement and value of chemistry and STEM careers with K-8 students through accessible science programs and hands-on experiences. Through Essential Elements professional development workshops, hands-on Activity Guides, and interactive Challenge competitions, we helped prepare over 650,000 students to join the workforce of tomorrow. In 2016, our programs reached over 942,800 students across the nation! The Essential Elements program educated over 1,700 teachers through 112 professional development workshops. Over 50,000 students participated in the Challenge and nearly 650,000 students learned about chemistry through our Activity Guides! 2014 Year In Review
2014 was a year of tremendous program growth and accomplishment for CEF. Highlights include reaching over 200,000 students, the exponential growth of the Essential Elements professional development program, and over 50 companies becoming inaugural members of the CEF President’s Club!
2013 Year In Review
2013 was a year of exceptional growth for CEF as an organization! Highlights include winning a Teachers’ Choice Award for our Fourth Edition Activity Guides, increasing our Challenge program outreach to over 20,000 students, building momentum for our Essential Elements teacher development program, and growing our staff so that we are well-placed to achieve our long-term expansion goals.
