About Essential Elements

The You Be The Chemist Essential Elements professional development workshops build educator confidence to teach hands-on science to students in grades K through 8. Furthermore, the workshops build connections among educators and chemistry professionals in communities to enhance instruction and elevate students’ career interests. To learn more, click here.

Workshop Information:

The Chemical Educational Foundation is very excited to be able to offer two Essential Elements Workshops for K-8 educators in the West Baton Rouge School District at their 2017 Smart Start Professional Development Conference on Monday, July 24. There will be two, 3-hour workshops, one from 8:30 to 11:30 AM and the second from 1:00 to 4:00 PM. We can accommodate up to 40 educators in each workshop. The West Baton Rouge School District will be using their own registration system for educators and we will provide a link when it is available. The workshops will be in West Baton Rouge LA and we will provide venue details when they are available. For more information please email essential.elements!chemed.org.
