About Essential Elements

The You Be The Chemist Essential Elements professional development workshops build educator confidence to teach hands-on science to students in grades K through 8. Furthermore, the workshops build connections among educators and chemistry professionals in communities to enhance instruction and elevate students’ career interests. To learn more, click here.

Workshop Information:

This will be a fun You Be The Chemist workshop for VCSI staff to be introduced to the program and go over the Next Generation Science Standards. This event is for VCSI staff only. If you are interested in scheduling a workshop in the area for your educators at no cost to teachers or schools, please fill out an Essential Elements inquiry form on the chemed.org website!
